Spray Foam
to the rescue! Ok, maybe not a rescue, but definitely a better
temperature control than the bare rafters!
We had it
installed on the second floor, where the 45 degree roof starts on up.
It's sprayed on, being mixed as it meets and hardens right away. The
'assistant' comes through after to saw off any parts that may have extended
past the studs (cannot drywall over these). Quick and easy, and a
fabulous alternative to fiberglass!

A tribute to the old drywall (don't worry, it's behind plumbing and only being used as an insulator. |
